DefectSRL260624 – LESCHUSTA – Check drag link | Through a self-disclosure by the supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG Daimler Truck AG was informed that there may have been a manufacturing deviation in vehicles of the models Atego 967 Actros 963 Arocs 964 and eActros 983 on the ball joints that are installed in steering components (e. g. drag links steering links tie rods). It cannot be ruled out that individual components did not fully undergo the prescribed hardening process and have therefore gotten into vehicles with insufficient material hardness.
