Defect	During regular conformity of production tests by the supplier a deviation at a component of the passenger?? airbag unit has been identified. As a result of this deviation the full protective effect of the passenger?? airbag may be impaired in the event of an accident triggering the restraint systems.
Remedy	To ensure the full protective effect the passenger?? airbag unit of all affected vehicles must be replaced.
