Defect	The possibility exists that the leaf springs on some vehicles were manufactured from a material that did not meet the design specifications. Because of this there is a potential risk that the rear leaf spring can break. Should the springs break during use this could result in a hazard to other road users.
Remedy	Check and if affected replace the installed leaf spring on the rear axle in accordance with the work instructions.
