Defect	Mercedes-Benz AG has come to an understanding with the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) to achieve an improvement in the emissions of our vehicles as quickly and effectively as possible via software updates in the vehicles of the Euro 5b+ N1 GR.III/N2 emissions.
Remedy	The recall is being performed as a result of a directive from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). According to the legal opinion of the Federal Motor Transport Authority certain specific calibrations of functions must be changed in the engine management of the vehicles.
