DefectFor affected vehicles battery cells were fitted in the high-voltage battery that can demonstrate an increased self-discharge due to a production fault. In the event of heavy self-discharge the yellow indicator lamps may light up.
RemedyThe affected battery modules must be checked and if necessary replaced. The vehicle may only be charged outdoors and up to maximum 80%.
