Defect	At Mercedes-Benz we constantly monitor our products to ensure the highest quality and safety. The tyre supplier Michelin notified Daimler Truck AG as part of a voluntary declaration that a circumferential crack in the tyre sidewall may occur on your vehicle with 355/50 R 22.5 Michelin X MULTI Z and X LINE ENERGY Z type truck tyres. Vehicles that have been equipped with potentially affected Michelin tyres should therefore be checked.
Remedy	As part of our planned recall campaign we will check the tires on potentially affected vehicles as a precautionary measure. Affected tires are then directly reported to Michelin and replaced.
