DefectFor certain vehicles equipped with second row seats that use recliner assemblies to unlock the seatbacks allow for seatback angle adjustment and locking due to a design change made by the supplier the recliner teeth may not fully engage during seatback adjustment. This could lead to the seatback not remaining in a locked position increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash at higher speeds.
