Navistar International vehicles' tie rod assemblies have improperly manufactured ball studs, risking separation

Defect	Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles. The tie rod assemblies may contain ball studs that have been incorrectly heat-treated, which can cause them to break, and possibly result in tie rod failure._x000D_ Tie rod failure can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy	Dealers will replace the tie rod end and re-align the front axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 9, 2024. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825. Navistar's number for this recall is 24511.
