DefectMevotech US Inc. (Mevotech) is recalling certain aftermarket lower control arms, part numbers 5CB801134 and 5CB801135. The front lower control arms may contain a design flaw, resulting in a separation of the ball joint from the lower control arm._x000D_ Ball joint separation can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
ComponentSUSPENSION
RemedyMevotech will inspect and repair the front lower control arms as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2024. Owners can contact Mevotech customer service at 1-866-883-7075.
