DefectThe Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram Promaster 11 passenger vehicles. The vehicles may not have a sufficient number of emergency exits. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."_x000D_ An insufficient number of emergency exits can prevent or delay passengers from exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing their risk of injury.

RemedyDealers will replace the driver-side window with an emergency exit window, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 20, 2024. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 1-800-488-0359.
