DefectContinental Tire the Americas, LLC (Continental) is recalling certain ProContact GX AO tires, size 255/35R19. The design of the tire may cause excessive heat buildup, resulting in belt separation._x000D_ Belt separation can cause a sudden loss of tire air pressure and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 7, 2024. Owners may contact Continental customer service at 1-888-799-2168.
