DefectChrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module (MCPA) may cause a loss of drive power._x000D_ A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
ComponentELECTRICAL SYSTEM
RemedyDealers will update the MCPA software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 10, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 99B.
