Defect	Reading Truck Equipment LLC (Reading) is recalling certain Curt trailer hitches with part numbers 15402 and 15845, installed on 2023-2024 Ford F350 and F550 vehicles. To install the hitch, the fuel tank was dropped, and the fuel tank strap fasteners were not properly tightened when the tank was re-installation._x000D_ An improperly secured fuel tank can separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy	Dealers will inspect and tighten the fuel strap fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 29, 2024. Owners may contact Reading customer service at 1-800-458-2226.
