DefectSumitomo Rubber USA, LLC (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Falken WildPeak AT4W size 275/60R20 115T tires. The tires may have been produced using the incorrect cord material for one of the plies. The sidewall label incorrectly identifies the generic name of the cord material. As such, the affected tires do not meet the labeling requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 139, ?New pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles.?_x000D_ Tires produced with the incorrect cord material can increase the risk of tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21, 2024. Owners may contact Sumitomo customer service at 1-877-763-0416.
