Defect	GKN Automotive (GKN) is recalling certain replacement driveshafts for 2006-2015 BMW Mini, 2004-2018 Land Rover Discovery, and Range Rover vehicles. The driveshaft can crack or break._x000D_ A cracked or broken driveshaft can cause a loss of drive power or a vehicle rollaway while in Park. Both scenarios increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy	GKN will reimburse the cost of a replacement driveshaft and installation labor. Notification letters were mailed to distributors November 20, 2024. Owners may contact GKN customer service at 1-248-881-6703.
