DefectVolvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2023-2025 VNR Electric trucks. The high voltage battery may contain loose hardware, which can create a short circuit inside the battery cells._x000D_ A high voltage battery that short circuits increases the risk of a fire.
ComponentELECTRICAL SYSTEM
RemedyDealers will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 6, 2025. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2501.
