Defect	Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V-293. The body control module (BCM) may inadvertently deactivate one or both rear tail lights._x000D_ Rear tail lights that fail to illuminate can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy	Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S07.
