DefectGeneral Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023-2024 BrightDrop Zevo 600 and 2024 Zevo 400 vehicles. The steering shaft may have been damaged during vehicle assembly and cause the steering to lock up._x000D_ Steering lock up increases the risk of a crash.

RemedyDealers will replace the lower intermediate shaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 28, 2025. GM's number for this recall is N252495400.
