DefectFontaine Trailer Company (Fontaine Trailer) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Fontaine HCIFL12SAT and HCIFL82CTA forklift trailers. The auto lift axle cables may not be installed in the correct ports, which can disable the anti-lock brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."_x000D_ Driving without a functioning anti-lock brake system may result in the trailer not braking as intended, increasing the risk of a crash.
