DefectAltec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Altec Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown._x000D_ An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.
ComponentELECTRICAL SYSTEM
RemedyAltec will replace the hydraulic tank heater relay, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 31, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3247. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 24V681.
