DefectCorp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2023-2025 T- Series, G5, and 2024-2025 MBII school buses equipped with a power-assisted service door. The rod-eye rings attaching the front and rear door panels to the opening gear may delaminate, preventing the door from being controlled by the driver._x000D_ The door panel may remain in the open position or open unexpectedly, increasing the risk of passenger being injured falling out of the bus.
ComponentSTRUCTURE
RemedyDealers will inspect the service door mechanism for signs of rod-eye ring delamination and repair the mechanism as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 3, 2025. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-114-UUS. 25-116-RUS.
