DefectForest River bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."_x000D_ Overloading the rear axle may cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
RemedyDealers will modify the seating free of charge and provide a refund for lost seating capacity as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 25, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River Bus's number for this recall is 05-2015.
