Defect	Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Bay Star and Bay Star Sport motorhomes. The hood stops mounting adhesive may fail, which can allow the hood stop to detach while the vehicle is in transit._x000D_ Hood stops that detach can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy	Dealers will inspect and reinstall the hood stop brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 627 RSB.
