Defect	Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly._x000D_ Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy	Dealers will install a ground signal to the door switch circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
