DefectChrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar side curtain air bags with part numbers 68224526AJ and 68224527AH. The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."_x000D_ Air bags with insufficient pressure retention increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.

RemedyDealers will replace the side curtain air bags, free of charge. If an air bag is not installed in a vehicle, it will be repurchased. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 14, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 07D.
