HazardEntrapment hazard
Hazard descriptionThe recalled high chairs pose a fatal suffocation risk because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 7 degrees. In addition, the high chair poses entrapment and fall hazards because the opening between the seat and tray is large enough that a child can fall through the opening or become entrapped in it. Health Canada reminds parents and caregivers that the safest place for a baby to sleep is on their back on a firm, flat surface intended for sleep. For more information on safe sleeping practices for infants, see Health Canada'…
RemedyImmediately stop using the recalled product and contact Costway for a full refund and instructions on how to return or dispose of the high chairs.
