Hazard descriptionDue to a design issue, when shifting quickly between Forward and Reverse, the force of the shift actuator pivot hitting the R stopper may exceed the fatigue stress limit. This may lead to failure of the actuator rod, resulting in the inability to shift the outboard motor and increasing the risk of a crash.
RemedyImmediately stop using the recalled products and contact an authorized Honda Marine dealer for a free repair.
