DefectIssue: On certain trailers, the rear impact guard may not have been welded properly to the frame. As a result, the rear impact guard may not work properly in a crash. Safety Risk: A rear impact guard that doesn't work properly could cause a vehicle to underride the trailer and increase the risk of injuries. Corrective Actions: Lode King will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, weld the rear impact guard to the frame.
