Hazard descriptionThe white, blue, red and black paintings have an excessive concentration of methylisothiazolinone (MI)(measured values: up to 2.8 mg/kg). MI causes severe skin burns and eye damage (if in contact with the eyes), and may cause an allergic skin reaction. In addition, the green painting has an excessive concentration of formaldehyde (measured value: 0.25 mg/kg). Formaldehyde is a skin sensitiser and can trigger allergic reactions and may cause cancer.
