DefectIssue: On certain vehicles, a component in the steering column may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears correctly when the shifter is moved. As a result, the gear shifter could feel like it is in one gear when the transmission is actually in another. This could cause sudden and unexpected vehicle movements.
