Hazard descriptionThe plastic of the product has an excessive concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), notably Benzo (a)pyrene (BaP), Benzo (e)pyrene (BeP), Benz (a)anthracene (BaA), Chrysene (CHR), Benzo (b)fluoranthene (BbFA), Benzo (j)fluoranthene (BjFA, Benzo (k)fluoranthene (BkFA), and Dibenz(a,h)anthracene (DBAhA) (measured values: 60.7 mg/kg, 47.7 mg/kg, 6 mg/kg, 40.7 mg/kg, 14 mg/kg, 7.3 mg/kg, 8.3 mg/kg and 7.4 mg/kg, respectively). These PAHs may cause cancer and are also mutagenic and toxic for reproduction.
