Hazard descriptionNew Zealand Health Association Limited (trading as Sanitarium Health Food Company) is recalling this product because it does not include the red fire hazard warning label. This label is required under the children's nightwear mandatory standard. There is a risk of serious burn injuries if the blanket is exposed to a heat or flame source. Consumers may not be aware of that risk without the label.
RemedyImmediately stop wearing the blanket. Consumers should contact Sanitarium to return the product for a full refund. For the purposes of this recall, Sanitarium will accept a return of any size Weet-Bix wearable blanket (whether purchased as a ‘Kids’ or ‘Adults’). If unsure, please contact us.
