Hazard descriptionTo date, no structural defects or non-compliance with safety standards have been identified in the product. However, most rechargeable batteries (or battery systems), including lithium-ion batteries, have the potential for component corrosion or electrical short circuits if moisture enters the interior, such as when directly exposed to rain or snow during operation in rainy weather or during storage. Remedy* Exercise extreme caution to prevent exposure to moisture such as rain or snow. * If any abnormal signs (overheating, burning smell, smoke, swelling/deformation) are detected, immerse the battery completely in a container filled with enough water to submerge it, and report it to 119 (in case of fire/explosion, evacuate immediately and then report to 119). * Consumers who own the affected battery should immediately stop using it and contact the place of purchase or the head office customer service center for a free replacement.
