Hazard descriptionIn the manufacturing process of the affected products, ball pins are used to secure the steering rod to the vehicle, which requires a hardening process for the ball pins across various production stages. However, re-certification tests conducted by ZF confirmed that certain ball pins remained unhardened. This can reduce the durability of the ball pins and, consequently, increase the risk of drag link separation.
