Hazard description	In the manufacturing process of the affected products, ball pins are used to secure the steering rod to the vehicle, which requires a hardening process for the ball pins across various production stages. However, re-certification tests conducted by ZF confirmed that certain ball pins remained unhardened. This can reduce the durability of the ball pins and, consequently, increase the risk of drag link separation. Remedy	The affected products are B2B replacement parts used in specific buses and large commercial vehicles, and are not products for consumers. ZF is in the process of guiding its distribution partners regarding this recall action and will collaborate with partners to identify and diagnose affected products, providing specific instructions for their replacement.
