| Hazard description | The cups do not comply with the Product Safety Policy Statement on Button batteries because the screw in the battery covering can be removed, and the products are missing warning information about the dangers of button/coin batteries to children and what to do if one is swallowed. This means that purchasers, including children, could potentially access the button/coin battery. Children are at risk of choking, serious injury or death if they swallow or place the button/ coin battery inside their body. |
| Remedy | Immediately discontinue use and keep out of reach of children. Either: Safely remove the battery from the cup and dispose of the cup and battery separately (we note that participating Mitre 10 and Bunnings stores collect batteries for safe disposal and recycling); or Contact Golden Link Australia Pty Ltd to arrange for the product to be returned for either a full refund or to register for a replacement collectable cup.
