Asbestos fibres may be released from the slipper pad in the vehicle through friction and users may be exposed to asbestos fibres if the vehicle is disassembled for repair or maintenance. If asbestos fibres are released into the air and breathed in, they can cause serious medical conditions, including asbestosis, lung cancer and mesothelioma. |
