Hazard descriptionThe product presents a high risk of fire because the plug pins do not conform to BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection to the socket. Over time, this will damage the socket and plug, which may cause the product to overheat and catch fire. The product also has an incorrectly rated fuse. A correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.
