Hazard descriptionThe product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and may not make a secure connection with the socket. This could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. The plug is also fitted with a counterfeit fuse link which does not conform to the requirements of BS 1362. A compliant, correctly rated fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the plug under fault conditions. Improvements are required to product documentation and markings.
