Hazard descriptionThe front main wiring harness may come into contact with a metal earthing stud because, following a design harmonisation change, PHEV/BEV vehicles were not fitted with the protective cap used on the MHEV version. Over time, vehicle vibrations could damage the harness insulation, allowing the wires to touch the earthing stud and cause a short circuit.
