Hazard descriptionRelacom Technologies Ltd are recalling the Smoke Alarm LZ-1902 because the online product listing incorrectly stated that the product provided carbon monoxide (CO) detection capability. The product is a smoke alarm only and does not provide carbon monoxide detection. If consumers rely on the product for carbon monoxide detection when it does not provide that function, they will not be alerted to the presence of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide exposure can lead to serious consequences including death.
RemedyStop using the product or relying on it for carbon monoxide detection. The product may continue to function as a smoke alarm; however, it does not provide carbon monoxide detection. Customers who purchased the product believing it also provided carbon monoxide detection should contact their seller to arrange a full refund.
