Defect165-ISOFIX | For certain vehicles the ISOFIX mountings may have inadequate weld seams at the attachment points. In the event of a vehicle crash the forces transmitted through a child seat attached to the ISOFIX anchorages may cause the bracket to fracture resulting in an increased risk of injury to the child.

RemedyVehicle owners are instructed not to use the ISOFIX attachment points until a technical inspection and if necessary a retrofit or repair has been carried out by an authorised dealer. Vehicles that pass the inspection may continue to be used; vehicles that fail will be retrofitted accordingly.
