DefectIssue: On certain brush chipper trailers, the hydraulic tongue jack could extend on its own while the trailer is being towed. Safety Risk: A hydraulic jack that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Vermeer will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your brush chipper trailer to an authorized service facility to repair the hydraulic tongue jack by replacing the wiring harness.
