DefectSUBARU CORPORATION has advised Subaru New Zealand Model Year 2026 (MY26) Subaru Forester Hybrid vehicles produced between 10-20 June 2026 may have been manufactured with a transaxle intermediate case that could develop cracks due to a maintenance issue of the casting mold during production. As a result, the affected component may not perform as intended and could lead to a loss of parking lock function.
