DefectThis recall relates to a potential issue with the vehicle’s electric folding seats. Hyundai Motor Company has identified a software logic issue in the second and third-row power seat‑folding mechanisms, which may prevent the system from detecting an occupant or object. As a result, the power‑folding function may not stop when activated. If the folding seat cannot detect an occupant or object, there is an increased risk of serious injury or fatal injury to anyone in or around the seat during operation.
