RemedyFor all vehicles, by rewriting the control programs of the engine control unit and immobilizer control unit to the countermeasure specification, the user will be notified with a warning message, and a protection mode that limits engine speed will be activated. Additionally, a functional inspection of the ignition switch will be performed using a diagnostic tool, and if a fault code is recorded, the ignition switch will be replaced with a new one.
