DefectIn the parking brake of shovel loaders, due to insufficient measures against the ingress of rainwater into the parking brake valve, rainwater may enter through the gap in the solenoid lead wire insertion part. Therefore, if use is continued, rust may form inside the solenoid, reducing the force that holds the parking brake in the released state, and in the worst case, the parking brake may activate while driving.
Recall typeVehicle
RemedyFor all vehicles: (1) Replace the solenoid with an improved part. (2) Change the mounting direction of the solenoid lead wire insertion part. (3) Install a cover around the solenoid. In addition, apply sealant to connectors where silicone adhesive sealant has not been applied.
