Defect	The passenger airbag may tear during deployment. which may not adequately protect an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. A torn airbag may reduce the occupant protection, and therefore increase risk of injury in the event of a crash. A torn airbag may also allow the escape of hot gasses which may cause burns to occupants.
