DefectOn certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit._x000D_ Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-180._x000D_ A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Porsche recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high-voltage battery modules, as necessary.
