DefectOn a small number of RV trailers, the solar panels may not have been wired correctly. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt._x000D_ Wiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the solar power system until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, correct the wiring for the solar panels.
