Defect	On a small number of aerial devices, the cap at the end of the hydraulic lift cylinder could detach. If this happens, the boom lift can drop suddenly._x000D_ Note: This recall only affects hydraulic lift cylinder part number 035040094_x000D_ A boom lift that drops suddenly could create a risk of injury to the operator and nearby people.

Remedy	Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to inspect the part number on the boom lift cylinder. If your lift has this cylinder, Altec recommends replacing the cylinder or removing the unit from service.
